my kid is 11 y.o. and he built it in 3 days. some parts are difficult to assemble and he needed my help. mostly it is very enjoyable and challenging. he had great time. however , don't expect much from the movement. it is very slow and not such functional. the electric motor is just a gimic. nothing serious. basically,it justifies the price.
good choice!!
Great srevice, fast.
Good fun to build but some design flaws.

Elastic bands on feet are too strong for weight, impacting mobility.
Inner leg connector needed some glue (legs kept detaching!!)
No limiter on steering (over steering results in another disconnection)

Moves quite slowly and better in reverse!

 Three tips:
Make sure cross connectors are pushed down into motor driver part.
Use a little nail glue on black leg wheels. These disconnect really easily causing failed motion!
Pay attention to leg wheel connection points for the motion. These should align diagonally for the walking motion to work.
